The tasting room at Scott Base is the perfect Central Otago wedding or function venue for intimate gatherings such as meetings or parties with seating for 16 inside, or up to around 50 including outdoor seating.
All tastes are catered for with our selection of Scott Base and Allan Scott Wines, as well as Moa Beer on tap.
A marquee can be erected on the lawn for larger gatherings. Talk to us about your requirements!
Weddings
Scott Base is a gorgeous location for a Central Otago wedding, with stunning hills and vines in all directions. The tasting room itself is a rustic building perched on the hill wrapped in vines, which functions well as the bar for pre and post ceremony drinks. The reception can be outdoor dining, or we can set up a marquee on the lawn.
The vineyard is within walking distance to town, making guest transport to town and local accommodation simple.
With a huge selection of wines from both Central Otago and Marlborough, plus beer both on tap and bottled, there is something for every taste. We can arrange platters and grazing tables for you, or you are welcome to bring a caterer on site.
